INTO Pre-departure App Launches

We have a couple of questions for you…

One: Is there anything left on the planet these days that doesn’t have its own app? We challenge you to find something…

Two: What are the main things you want to know before you leave your home to come and study abroad: Who will meet you at the airport? Which clothes should you pack? What will your new campus be like? Will the teachers be friendly? All of the above plus a million other things?

We’ve taken these two questions and thought about how we can use the second to address the first, to give you all of the information you need to know about coming to study abroad – in an app.

INTO Student Mobile App

The INTO Student app has all the essential information you’ll need before you arrive, including:

  • Campus facilities
  • Video tours
  • Accommodation options
  • Information about living and working
  • A guide on eating and drinking
  • Weather
  • Travel information
  • Advice on what to bring with you

And that’s not even the half of it. All content has been carefully chosen to help you become familiar with your new home abroad, before you’ve even left your old one.

The app also comes in handy once you’ve arrived, with information about the local area, interviews with your teachers, video tours of the Centre and surrounding area, maps of the campus, and news about events and social activities.

INTO Student Mobile App
Not only is the app designed to help you find your own way around, it could also be a great way to make friends on your first day – let’s face it, everyone wants to know the person who knows their way around campus when everyone else is feeling a little bit lost. Plus, the app allows you to connect directly to our social media channels, which means you’ll already be part of our student community and be familiar with what goes on in your study centre.

The INTO Pre-departure App is free to download, and available for Apple iOS and Android. Just visit your Centre’s Download Our App page on the INTO Higher website and find out all you need to know before arriving at your new study destination.

Hey, and remember, we’re on Facebook and Twitter – join our student community!
